Quick Step-By-Step Instructions for Using the Leverpresso

STEP 1

Remove the portafilter and cup from the cylinder by holding the cylinder and cup, and twisting clockwise.

STEP 2

Add finely ground coffee to the 18 gram espresso portafilter basket.

STEP 3

Spread coffee grounds evenly and press down firmly using the included tamper.

STEP 4

Rotate the cup counter clockwise and attach it to the cylinder.

STEP 5

With the levers down, add roughly 120 ml of hot water. (95~100°C)

* Always use caution when using hot water.

STEP 6

Carefully lift the levers to their fully up right position, releasing the water into the cylinder.

STEP 7

Gently press the levers down and release. Bubbles should appear. Then slowly but firmly press the levers down until they reach the bottom of the machine. This process should take 25-35 seconds.

* Again, always use caution as hot water and high pressures are involved..

“Never force the levers down if they seem to get “stuck”, simple release pressure and try again.
